UCSD Musculoskeletal Radiology bonepit.com Who to call

Yo peeps,

After slogging with EPIC staff, I figured out that we cannot see the inpatient list because many of our accounts are set to "Radiology" as our default department on log-in and apparently EPIC has set up Radiology as an outpatient section.  We need to sign in under an inpatient department (ie. Interventional Radiology).  Once you do that, it's not too difficult to find the Who to Call list.

1.) Sign in but do not hit OK for Radiology for your department.

2.) You must type in "IP INTERVENTIONAL RADIOLOGY" in the department drop box.  It's fastest to type "IP INT" then click on the magnifying glass icon to the right to select this option.

3. Click on PATIENT STATION.  This gives you access to search inpatient data. DO NOT use CHART.

4. Search for your patient by name/MR.

5. Click on the GREEN Admission Encounter.

6. Click on PATIENT OVERVIEW.

7. Voila! but no hotlink to webpaging.
